The Grapefruit Diet Plan

There are various versions for Grapefruit Diet but the most important thing behind each and every of the plan is pretty much the same i.e. eat half a grapefruit before every meal and enjoy the benefits of the fat-burning enzymes. The calorie consumption is limited to no more than 800 per day.

The Grapefruit diet plan helps fast weight loss, mainly due to the loss of body fluids. The best part about this plan is that there is No Starvation. You will be enjoying normal meals at normal times.

It has been claimed that the grapefruit diet will help you lose 3 stone in only 12 weeks, due to the amazing benefits of grapefruits.

 

There are the basic principle s for the grapefruit diet if you wish to try it.

  • You have to drink eight 8oz. glasses of water daily ( 64 oz. total per day).
  • At any meal you may eat until you are full.
  • You must eat the minimum listed at each meal. You cannot cut off anything from the diet, especially the bacon and the salads at breakfast. You must eat the bacon and salads because these combinations of food will help to burn the fat, skipping one part of the combination will affect the whole thing not to work.
  • The grapefruit or fruit juice plays an important role because it performs as a catalyst that begins the burning process. Do not add or lower the amount of grapefruit or juice.
    Reduce on coffee; it affects the insulin balance that delays the burning process. Try to control to 1 cup at meal time.
  • Don't eat between meals. If you eat the recommended foods you will not easily get hungry.
  • You can use butter to fry food and use it generously on vegetables.
  • Cut off on desserts, breads, and white vegetables or sweet potatoes.
  • You may double or triple helpings of meat, salad or vegetables.
  • Eat until you are packed. The more you eat the more weight you will lose.
  • Stay on the diet 12 days, then stop the diet for 2 days and do again.
